About the Accreditation Program
The International Association of Airport Executives Canada (IAAE Canada) exists to promote the profession of airport management and the professional development of Airport Managers in Canada.
Since its inception in 1994, IAAE Canada has helped many members accomplish their goals by providing various educational and career enhancing opportunities. For these reasons, IAAE Canada is proud to offer its premier credential the Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) “The Mark of an Airport Professional”, only those who have proved a high level of knowledge, managerial skills and professionalism are awarded their A.A.E.
The IAAE Canada Accreditation program is set to be the equivalent of a 4th year university academic level and challenges the candidates to prove their knowledge and skills in three distinct ways: Passing the exam, researching and writing a management paper and passing the Board of Examiners panel interview.
The IAAE Canada Board of Examiners expects all candidates to produce work of a very high quality and professional standard. When evaluating candidates’ submissions the board will only approve those that meet the high standards of quality and professionalism as set by the IAAE Canada Board of Directors and Board of Examiners.
