About Affiliate Membership
Affiliate membership shall be open to any individual who has active responsibility for the management, operation or administration of an airport, or of staff functions of an airport and is presently engaged in either activity as a gainful occupation.
The term "airport" as used herein shall mean and include airports that are available for use by other than the owner or operator upon reasonable, uniform and non-discriminatory terms and conditions.
Affiliate membership in IAAE Canada shall be open to all persons, including those of all ages, races, religions, genders, disabilities or national origins, either individual or corporate, who are eligible for any one of the five classes of membership and who have qualified for membership in the manner prescribed by IAAE Canada's Constitution and Bylaws.
Affiliate members who meet the requirements can apply to the Accreditation Program. The member then becomes an Affiliate Candidate.
Upon completion of the Accreditation exam the Affiliate Candidate will achieve "Certified Member" status and will use the designation C.M. after their name. Upon completion of all phases of the Accreditation Program the Affiliate Candidate will achieve "Accredited Airport Executive" status and will use the designation A.A.E. after their name. The yearly membership fee is $288.75 ($275 plus $13.75 GST). GST #88483-2528. Monthly fee $22.92 plus $1.15 GST = $24.07.
Membership Benefits
As an IAAE Canada Affiliate member you will receive the following benefits:
- • Airport Magazine – A bi-monthly magazine in the United States and throughout the world. This magazine is published by AAAE.
• International Airport Report – This report is emailed monthly. It contains timely information on activities in the airport and airline industry throughout the world.
• Canadian Airport e-Report – A Canadian report on airport and airline information that is emailed out bi-weekly. Therefore the information is very timely. Business opportunities and job listings are also available on this report.
• IAAE Canada Annual Report – Printed annually and distributed to Affiliate Members in good standing. It contains committee reports on activities for the past year including audited financial statements and Corporate Members listing.
• AAAE Membership Directory and Corporate Members Yellow Pages – This booklet is published annually and is available to all members by contacting the IAAE Canada Office. - Your membership includes access to the member’s only area of IAAE Canada web site, called the Forum. This web site provides information on upcoming courses, conferences, job postings, membership list and airport news. You can preview the website at www.iaaecanada.org.
- The AAAE web site is also available to our members. This web site provides extensive information on all aspects of airport operation. Of interest is the AAAE Airport Management Information Library that contains numerous reports, surveys and other current written material.
