Airport Reports Record July Traffic Volumes

Passenger traffic in July rose to unprecedented levels in 2010. July 2010 saw 63,418
passengers arrive and depart. Volume increased by 8.8% over July of 2009, and is the
highest July traffic volume on record.

Year to date traffic volumes suggest a strong 2010 for the Airport. Volume reported in
2010 has risen by 7.6% over the same period in 2009, with 397,934 passengers having
used the Airport’s services.

Scott McFadden, President & CEO of the Thunder Bay International Airports Authority
(TBIAA) stated “The Board’s Vision is for the Airport to continue to ensure the region
has access to high quality, sustainable air service and be a major contributor to
economic growth. This continued strong passenger growth demonstrates that our
innovative and low cost approach to managing airports is achieving this Vision.”
TBIAA is a not-for-profit, non-shareholder company responsible for the operation of the
Thunder Bay International Airport.

TBIAA receives no government funding for the
operation of the Airport. Economic activity related to the Airport is responsible for an
estimated $.5 billion dollars in GDP annually and 2086 direct jobs.
