Greetings,

IAAE Canada is pleased to announce the formation of a Corporate Committee reporting to the Board of Directors. As you know a while back we asked for those interested in becoming our next Corporate Representative to put their names on the list. We had a great response, in fact the Board had a hard time deciding who the best candidate would be. So after much thought and debate it was decided to create a small committee made up of some of our corporate members and since we had a list with all this talent, we should offer the chance to them all.
So again we are pleased to say that Paul Cudmore of Team Eagle who has worked hard to help the Board over the past two years will chair this new committee and Eric Tolton AAE with Black & McDonald will be his assistant until our next AGM June 2012 when Eric will become the Corporate Representative to the Board and assisting these two will be Greg Richardson with the Commissionaires, Kelvin Williamson with LNT Solutions & Elvio Pecchia with SNC Lavalin. This new committee has a much greater depth of talent than any one individual would have and is now much more representative of the now 45 Corporate Members of IAAE Canada. We envision that this group will help us in decisions that affect all our Corporate Members and others too.We wish them well and you can feel free to contact any of them if you have any suggestions or ideas they could look at.

Sent in from an IAAE Canada member....

FOG
A natural weather phenomenon which usually occurs around an airport while the surrounding areas are clear. Fog is controlled by the airlines and is used to delay flights.
BAGGAGE CLAIM
The most difficult area of the airport to find. It is usually hidden by numerous signs saying, "Baggage Claim Area."
CARRY ON BAG
An item, usually of large dimensions, which somehow managed to fit under the passenger's seat on the inbound flight. Regardless of what the passenger says the following are not acceptable as carry-on items : bicycles, steamer trunks, refrigerators, truck tires, or wide screen projection TVs.
