| Greetings!
Sorry if you missed the cancellation notice for the TP312 course. We had to cancel it due to lack of attendees, which makes us wonder, if everyone has already attended one of these TP312 talks from John Smyth. Perhaps you're thinking I'll wait until the new update comes out. Well just to let you know, the authorities are saying maybe the end of 2010, but I understand, if you haven't been through the current program you might be running harder to keep up with the new one when it launches. We appreciate feedback when ever we get it, one such item this week complimented us on this publication (we always like to hear that) then came the but, this one was regarding travel. They were saying their employer has placed travel restrictions on them and so could we hold some training in their back yard. Our answer was of course, all we need is enough people to meet our costs for the particular course and we will put it on in your living room. (so to speak) Trouble is a lot of people wait to see where and when a training program is taking place rather than letting us know they want it, if enough people in your area let us know they want a particular training course we will provide it. In fact speaking about feedback, just recently we sent a survey to a number of airports trying to ascertain what training needs you have and if it would be viable for IAAE Canada to invest in online training for your benefit, but only a few completed and returned the survey which was not a large enough sample to allow us to make an effective decisions. We are still open to receiving your input, even if you weren't sent the survey, you can either request it or just tell us what you think.

Association UpdateOnly a couple of months left before we all meet in Niagara Falls for what looks like will be a great conference. We have almost sold out the exhibitor hall and the sponsorship which goes to show the support allied industries are giving this conference. They don't put there money into anything that doesn't promise to be a success, based on the quality program and speakers. We want you to know that we are committed to putting this conference on, let's face it we have our money where our mouth is, meaning we have to prepay for things so they will be available for you. Registration is starting to pick up but to give it a boost, we have arranged with Niagara Helicopters to fly two people over the falls, on Tuesday June 1st, to get an awesome exclusive look in a way you will never see them from the ground. We have also arranged with the Skylon Tower, revolving restaurant for a dinner for two on Sunday evening May 30th, what a romantic time, if you bring your spouse, or just a great dinner experience for you and a friend and a great way to start our conference. We are giving these items as a draw, all you have to do is register for the conference before Apr 1st to be in the draw. We will also give a similar prize to the airport that brings the most delegates.
