The Lighter Side of Aviation...
The Cherokee 180 pilot was told by the tower to hold short of the active runway while a DC-8 landed. The DC-8 landed, rolled out, turned around, and taxied back past the Cherokee. Some quick-witted comedian in the DC-8 crew got on the radio and said, "What a cute little plane. Did you make it all by yourself?" The Cherokee pilot, not about to let the insult go by, came back with a real zinger: "I made it out of DC-8 parts. Another landing like yours and I'll have enough parts for another one." |

Association Update This year's Accreditation Academy is filling up quickly! We know that many of our members want to earn the A.A.E. designation. The first step is to join us at the GTAA - Toronto, Ontario - June 20-25, 2011
Why become accredited?
The IAAE Canada Accreditation Program is set to be the equivalent of a 4th year university academic level and challenges the candidates to prove their knowledge and skills in three distinct ways: Passing the exam, researching and writing a management paper and passing the Board of Examiners panel interview. Candidates are given three years to complete the program.
Upon completion of all phases of the Accreditation Program the Affiliate Candidate will achieve "Accredited Airport Executive" status and the designation A.A.E. after his or her name.
