When an emergency strikes, affected parties must be alerted immediately and with clear instructions. Amika Mobile ensures people are quickly found in an emergency even if they are not pre-registered in a contacts database. Database pre-registration is described as the Achilles’ heel of mass notification. Amika Mobile specializes in saving lives on any device and any network. The company has developed the world’s first integrated emergency mass notification system that auto-discovers user devices and targets alerts to their location. The Amika Mobility Server (AMS) is a software platform for on-premise or cloud alerting fully scalable to millions of users. The AMS alerts groups or en masse over 15 layers including SMS, MMS, email, desktop/laptop/ SmartPhone pop-ups, VoIP, paging, PA, Facebook, Twitter, RSS Feeds, etc. AMS also captures, disambiguates and manages disparate sensor events from physical security systems such as access control systems, fire or gas panels triggering targeted alerts to individuals, groups or en masse. Its emergency alerting products are ideal for public venues like airports, and campuses concerned with safety and security as per NFPA 72-2010 for fire safety, or FEMA’s FPC 65 directive for emergency mass notification at all municipal, state and federal buildings. Amika Mobile sells on-premise products through partners, system integrators, and OEM’s to hosting providers or platform vendors focusing on North America, India, and Europe with possible expansion to the Middle East. Amika Mobile has won 12 awards for innovative technologies and contributions to public safety.
