Association Update
Last week we held the first Airport Systems P lanning Course. For the newer individuals to the airport industry the information was a real eye opener and for the more seasoned attendee there was a lot of meat on the old bone to give them something to chew on. By all accounts it was a success, in fact many were asking what's next. Well it's too soon to say but your Board is looking into possibility of a repeat performance as well as a follow up. we want to put on more management related programs perhaps you know of a program that would benefit other managers or you know you need a particular slant on the topic why not email us and discuss it so we can help you and others too. One of the things David Aitken challenged the attendees of the Operations & Facility Managers C onference was "why should people follow you?" that seemed to spark a lot of interest to many who were there. Those self examination type questions are always easier for us to answer about someone else. That was just one of the nuggets you missed if you weren't there. Mark your diary for next year, Charlottetown May 29 – June 1, 2011. We will be working on the agenda over the summer, so if you have a topic you would like to see on the agenda or you have one you would like to present, please let us know.
