  • Course Schedule: The course will run from approximately 8am to 4pm each day.
  • The in-class portion will take place in Boardroom 200
  • Airport staff will shuttle attendees to a groundside location for the simulator exercises. 


Other Information: Enrollment includes lunches.

Course Description:
The course will introduce participants to the role and responsibilities of being a member of an Emergency Management Team (EMT); how to develop an EMT, how to define the roles and responsibilities for airport staff, and course participants will be advised as to what is expected of them in an emergent situation.

A discussion of recent emergencies, events and disasters will underscore the importance of this program and emergency preparedness both at work and at home.

The course will include a live exercise involving an aircraft simulator

Refund & Cancellation Policy:
IAAEC reserves the right to reschedule any program if the number of registrants is insufficient. Should this occur, we will notify all registrants and refund the registration fee in full.
• Any costs incurred by registrants, such as hotel cancellation fees or airline penalties, are the responsibility of the  registrants.
• Registrations are transferable.
• Cancellations 10 days prior to the date of the course will incur a $100 administration fee.
• No-shows will be responsible for the full course fee.
