ABOUT IAAE CANADA
Our Story
For more than 30 years, IAAE Canada has brought together people from across Canada's airport industry to learn, connect and grow. Through professional development, accreditation, networking and shared experience, we've helped thousands of airport professionals build stronger careers while strengthening Canada's airport community.
We began as the Canadian chapter of the International Association of Airport Executives, with a focus on serving airport executives. Over time, our association grew, and so did the community we serve. Today, we welcome airport professionals of all types, from students and emerging professionals to those working in operations, administration, management and executive leadership, along with the organizations that serve Canada's airport industry.
As our organization evolved, so too did the way people referred to us. While our full name remains the International Association of Airport Executives Canada, members and industry partners increasingly began referring to us simply as IAAE Canada. Recognizing that our name had evolved alongside the community we serve, we now proudly embrace that identity. Today, we are known simply as IAAE Canada (pronounced I double A E Canada), a community for Canada's airport professionals.
Today, we're much more than an association that delivers programs. We're a national community where airport professionals build meaningful relationships, share ideas, support one another and grow throughout their careers.
Whether you're attending a conference, participating in a webinar, earning accreditation, taking a training course or simply connecting with peers, our goal is the same: to help you strengthen your knowledge, expand your professional network and make a greater impact within the airports and communities you serve.
While our public-facing brand is simply IAAE Canada, our legal name remains the International Association of Airport Executives Canada, and our affiliation with the International Association of Airport Executives and the American Association of Airport Executives remains unchanged.
Our focus is simple: investing in the people who keep Canada's airports operating safely and effectively every day.
